The Fisher Girl

Exhibition of preparatory drawings and maquettes for public art commission, The Fisher Girl.  Exhibition to include resources and artifacts, contributions from members of community and Gt. Yarmouth Local History and Archaeological Society,  Time and Tide Museum and Lowestoft Maritime Museum.  The sculpture is  located on Blackfriars Road, Great Yarmouth, and was to be unveiled by Heritage England on Thursday 26th March, but this was cancelled thanks to Covid-19 lockdown.

Cley 20 planned for July 2020, but may have to be cancelled.  This year’s Cley exhibition is to be curated by Amanda Geitner and the theme is Nowhere.

2019 exhibitions:

Port to Port,   Fermoy Centre, Kings Lynn, Norfolk. 10th – 27th October, 2019. Exhibition showing the work of Great Yarmouth artists Katarzyna Coleman, Bridget Heriz, John Kiki, Emrys Parry and Bruer Tidman, curated by Keith Roberts and Selwyn Taylor on behalf of Norfolk Contemporary Art Society. This will be followed by an exhibition of work by 5 artists from West Norfolk at Great Yarmouth Library galleries.

Between Us: Biennial Conversation and Exchanges.  An ongoing dialogue between artists from China and Britain. A Yantai Art Museum, China, initiative with Original Projects and University of Suffolk, Ipswich.
Ex Marks the Spot 3-7 King Street, Great Yarmouth, NR30 2NF from 18th September, 12-18hrs, Thursday to Saturday and University of Suffolk Waterfront Building, IP4 1QJ.  From 18th September, 9am – 4pm, Monday to Friday, 10am – 4pm weekends.

Abstracted, Mannington Hall, Norfolk, NR11 7BB.  An exhibition curated by NCAS, installed in the cafe and grounds of Mannington Hall through their summer season, 11th June to 27th August, open Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays 11am – 5pm and Sundays 12 noon to 5pm.
